In the past two years, I’ve learned a lot in terms of product development, launches and community building. It takes a team…it just makes it easier, saves time, makes it more fun, and ultimately increases the chances of success. I’ve been lucky enough to be part of a team that in the past 2 years launched a film in theaters and on Netflix, built a network of local support groups in 400+ cities, launched and marketed unique line of life-saving healthy plant-based frozen meals sold in grocery stores and hospitals, and built and launched the largest video summit on the Internet…and none of this could have ever been done by myself. I was simply part of a team of very skilled and passionate people that I have been truly blessed to work with. Often we tell ourselves as entrepreneurs that we can (or have to) do it alone…that we don’t need anyone else, and I use to think like that. In fact I used to teach entrepreneurs to think like that….to believe that the right technology could do everything for you. I was wrong, and I’m sorry. When I became very ill two years ago, I did not pick myself up alone…I had help. When I was invited to be part of something bigger…I had help. When I had ideas I wanted to execute…I had help. When I had trouble balancing home and work life…I had help. The result is that I am healthier, happier and wealthier. So the question I have for you is not whether you need help or not, because let’s face it…we all need help. The question is whether or not you will accept the offer. Because for every minute…every second someone doesn’t see your solution to their problem, they are suffering…they are not reaching their potential…they are not helping others. So ask for help AND accept it. People are depending on you.
